Everything is proceeding as expected. After we received our permit, we began mobilizing contractors to prepare the site. Earlier this month, the entire building envelope was cleared leaving the beautiful live oak forest unscathed. The contractors are accessing the site through our service road next to the Landscape Recycling area. Last week, they installed five feet of fill on each of the three building sites to surcharge or compact the ground. That will take several weeks. During that time, we will be installing utility lines and Morton Building will be mobilizing to begin framing in the next four to six weeks. We have some interior details to finalize this spring, but at this point, we are on schedule and hoping for completion this fall. If you plan to walk the site, please use the entrance off of Spring Island Drive across from the community maintenance facility.
