A beautiful article about a historic home, in the South of Broad district of Charleston, that is an integral part of Spring Island’s history. It was the primary home of George Edwards, the owner of Spring Island. His home on the Island are now considered to be the most significant Tabby Ruins on the East Coast. The current owner restored the antebellum gardens around the property which turned out to be almost identical to gardens found on Spring Island.
